
Scouting

The 66th Scouting group stared meeting at Richards Memorial United Church in October of 1954 with the formation of a Cub Pack. in 1956, a Scout Troop was formed; in 1969, a Venture Company was formed; in 1968, a Rover Crew was established, and in 1973 Richards memorial was host to a trial venture of a new division of Scouting for younger boys. In November of 1974 this division (Beavers) was recognized as an official division of Boy Scouts of Canada. Richards memorial now hosts Scouting programs for boys: Beavers (5 to 8 years), Cubs (9 to 11 years), Scouts (12 to 14 years), Ventrues (15 to 17 years) and Rovers (18 + years).

Venturers & Mondays 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
